A tad stuck…
Hey we’ve all been there (I hope). I’m finding myself in the midst of a personal project that isn’t quite flowing the way I want. Don’t get me wrong, the ideas are there and, not to pat myself on the back, I think they are good ones. Nevertheless, getting the ball rolling has been difficult. What started as a quick exercise has turned into a 6-month slog uphill.
In short, I’m working out a big restructure to how I do business and the type of services I offer. I have a ton of goals and a lot of little things that will need to be updated too, not the least of which is the OLSON brand. I’ve always heard people say that “designing for yourself is hardest of all,” and I have never felt this so acutely.
All said, I do feel that I am learning A LOT during this time. There have been so many connections forged that are not only sharpening me, but humbling me. You know who you are, and I hope you know that I am grateful for your patient support and gentle critique. It’s a funny thing how more experience often reveals how little we actually know.

Anyhoo. Cool things are in the works. I’ve been developing some partnerships that might just knock your socks off. Like I said, I’m only so much on my own. Where once I only dabbled in pulling from the expertise of others, OLSON Graphic Design (name now pending) is entering a new phase.
Stay tuned. Might happen this year, or next month, or sooner… God knows.
